Why
LifeInPocket® cannot connect to Internet?
If you have an unlocked device, you need to set APN in order to connect to Internet correctly. Your APN is set to original carrier's APN by BlackBerry system software, you need to change it to new carrier's APN manually.
BlackBerry home > Advanced > TCP
You need to change all APN settings in this page to new carrier's APN settings. Please ask your new carrier to provide APN settings and help you to change accordingly!
Otherwise this is unusual, it should be install and go! Did you grant all permissions/trusted app status when asked during installation? If you did then this is likely memory, port or resources possessed by other apps. Pull the battery and you may free up those resources.!
If it doesn't work then you will need to delete our app, pull the battery then re-install so you can release ports, memory and API's possessed by other apps.
If this occurred again, you will need to delete apps that has memory leak or possessing ports while do not release ports when not using it.
Assuming this is not a corporate device connecting through fire wall. If it is then you need to talk to you IT department to change IT policy in your phone.
GPS is not working, what did I do wrong?
It should be an install and go experience. Did you grant all permissions/trusted app status when asked? You need to make sure that you have the internal GPS on. You can check this at
Blackberry home à Settings --> Advanced --> GPS
You also need to permitting LifeInPocket® to access GPS and network, you can change permissions at
Blackberry home Settings --> Advanced --> Applications --> LifeInPocket® --> Permissions
You will need to make sure that you exit all other applications that use GPS function (they may still occupies GPS port), so apps are known to block other applications' GPS access even they are closed. Of cause, your phone needs to view open sky in order to receive signal from multiple satellites. In some cases, you would need to delete our app, pull the battery then re-install LifeinPocket.

Cannot sign-in with Storm1/2 because I cannot move highlight to desired text entry area.
This is a known BlackBerry OS bug, to enter text, you must touch ":" (the beginning of each text field) with left thumb to move cursor because current Storm2 OS can only detect your touch in these areas.
I
can sign-in on my PC but, with the same ID and PASSWORD trying
to login on my phone, I got invalid user name or password!
Both
user name and password are case sensitive while BlackBerry
capitalize the first letter you entered. Please double check!
Got "Error starting LifeInPocket: Module ... attempt to access a security API " after installation, how to solve this problem?
Start from 0.68 release, WiFi is supported while carriers may provision WiFi differently to cause problem as you download through their gateway by using carrier's browser such as MediaNet.
You can solve problem by following steps,
Delete LifeInPocket then go to,
Option > Advanced > Browser
Set BlackBerry (or Hotspot browser) then download again.

have never received my download link by SMS?
Please
make sure that you select “download to phone”
(instead of download to PC)! Also sign in then select “User
Profile” link to make sure you selected the right carrier
and entered correct phone number. You should have received SMS
with download link. If you don’t, you can type the link or
copy and paste the link then send to your mobile email .

other sites by HTTP when started the application otherwise you
won’t be able to access our server and other services. You

make sure you selected "BlackBerry" and correct model
first because you will get this error message when downloading
LifeInPocket for other phones.
If you selected Blackberry as
your phone maker and correct model then this is a known

I
upgraded to a Tour 9630 and lost my info. What should I

Do I
stay in connection with the server the whole time while I am
navigating?
LifeInPocket
is the most reliable mobile navigation engine, part of the
reason is we have very little reliance on cellular network. We
connect to network, only to calculate the route; which is
generally no more than a few seconds. If the route needs to be
recalculated because you have changed your plans or ignored the
directions, you would need to connect with our server again. On
the contrary, other navigation applications have to connect to
the server via unreliable cellular network all the time which
induces problems and drain battery quickly.
I
downloaded & installed LifeInPocket to my Storm.
In starts up, it won't let me select anything in the opening
menu.
Sign-in
tLifeInPocket for Storm is designed for touch screen
interface while in rare case, Storm OS’s bug force apps to
run under compatibility
mode which is for those apps without touch screen support. You
need to disable compatibility mode.
Options>Applications>highlight (don't click)
LifeInPocket. Hit
BB button then disable compatibility mode. If
still not working, do a Battery
pull before and after
prescribed steps.
During
upgrade I get this error: 907 Invalid COD Illegal host string
(or Java exception etc.).
These
errors are caused by a known problem in the BlackBerry OS. To
resolve this problem, you will need to uninstall the older
version of LifeInPocket and reboot the phone. Then you will
be able to install the newer version of LifeInPocket.
